Effective

SummaryThe developer does not collect personal information. The banner ad under the comparison screen comes from Google AdMob, which processes device information such as the advertising identifier. Apple handles payment for Remove ads.

kvndh ("the developer") handles the personal information of people who use the SpecTable app ("the app") under Korea's Personal Information Protection Act, as set out below.

01Purpose of processing

The app has no sign-up or login, and the developer does not collect personal information from users.

The app shows a banner ad under the comparison screen. Google's ad service AdMob selects and displays that ad, and uses device information to show ads and measure how they perform.

02Information processed

The developer collects no personal information. The data the app uses is listed below. All of it is kept in the app's storage on your device, and the developer does not receive it. The app does not handle names, contacts, location, photos or payment methods.

Information that AdMob may collect when showing ads is listed in section 9.

  • The products chosen for comparison: used to show the same comparison when the app reopens
  • Saved combos: used to reopen them
  • The Differences only switch: used to choose which rows the table shows
  • App language choice: used to set the screen language
  • Whether the intro has been seen: used to show it only once

03Processing and retention period

The developer holds no personal information. Data in the app's storage is deleted when you delete the app. Saved combos stay until you remove them in the app or delete the app.

Information collected by AdMob is kept as set out in Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

04Disclosure to third parties

The developer does not provide users' personal information to third parties. However, the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform SDK built into the app send the information in section 9 directly to Google, as follows.

  • Recipient: Google LLC (United States), AdMob
  • Purpose: checking ad consent, showing ads and measuring ad performance
  • Information: the device information and ad interaction records listed in section 9
  • When and how: sent over the internet when the app opens, checks consent and starts the SDK, and when an ad is loaded and shown
  • Retention: as set out in Google's Privacy Policy

05Outsourcing of processing

The developer does not outsource the processing of personal information. Apple processes payment for Remove ads and restoring it through the App Store, and payment information is governed by Apple's privacy policy. The developer does not receive your payment method or Apple Account details.

The price link on a product opens Danawa search or the Amazon search of your country in your default browser, depending on your device's region. In Taiwan and Hong Kong this link does not appear. An address under Sources opens the maker's page in your default browser. The privacy policy of the site you open applies there, and the developer does not receive what you view on that site.

06Destruction of information

The developer holds no personal information, so there is nothing to destroy. Saved combos can be removed in the app, and deleting the app removes all of its data.

07Rights of users and legal guardians, and how to exercise them

Because the developer holds no personal information, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions, email us at the address below.

You can ask Google to give you access to, or delete, information collected by AdMob (policies.google.com/privacy). To refuse use of the advertising identifier, follow section 9. Payment information is held by Apple and is covered by Apple's privacy policy (apple.com/legal/privacy).

08Security measures

What the app uses sits in the app's storage on your device. The developer runs no server, and the app does not use iCloud sync. This data can be included in device backups you turn on. The product spec list is built into the app, so the app does not download specs. The only permission the app asks for is tracking (ATT). It does not ask for photos, location, notifications, camera or contacts. A comparison image is made on your device and passed to the system share sheet only when you tap share, and you choose where it goes. Copying a source address only places it on the clipboard. What the app passes to the ad SDK is the ad request and the banner size. It does not pass the products you chose or your saved combos.

09Automatic collection and how to refuse it

The app does not use cookies or analytics tools. It includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and the Google User Messaging Platform SDK for advertising, which may collect the information below when they check ad consent and when they load and show ads.

After the intro closes, or when the app opens if you have already seen the intro, the app checks ad consent information. Where ad consent is required, such as the European Economic Area, Google's consent form appears first. If ads can be requested and you haven't answered yet, iOS shows the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you don't allow tracking, AdMob does not get the advertising identifier (IDFA), and ads keep appearing. You can change this choice in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

If the consent result means ads can't be requested, the tracking prompt is not shown and ads are not requested. Where consent is required, change it from Ad privacy choices on the Remove ads screen, which opens from the bottom row of the first screen.

After you buy Remove ads, the app checks your purchase when it opens and then skips the consent check, the tracking prompt and the SDK start, and ads are not requested. If you buy while the app is open, the banner goes away at once, but an SDK that has already started stays until you quit the app. Once the SDK has started, it may collect the information below.

Cookies on outside sites you open from the app are run by those sites and follow their policies.

  • Device identifiers, and the advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow tracking
  • Approximate location estimated from the IP address
  • Ad interaction records such as impressions and taps, and app usage records
  • App performance, crash and diagnostic information
  • Ad consent status
