Top, bottom and shoes are always on. Hat, outer and bag switch on and off from their slot chips. Switching one off takes it off the mannequin and out of the ranking.

Tapping a slot opens a sheet. Garments are at the top, colors below. What you pick lands on the mannequin as you tap it.

There are 24: six neutrals, three denims, five earth tones, navy and nine accents. They are the colors clothes actually come in, fixed in the app, so there is no way to mix your own or enter a hex value.

A color taken from a photo also resolves to the nearest of the 24.

It is not random. Eleven rules score each combination, the strongest twelve are prepared in advance, and every tap moves one place down that list. The end wraps around to the start.

Only the best look for each pairing of bottom and shoes is kept, so you never get a run of outfits that differ by one color. Swiping the mannequin left or right walks the same list.

Lock holds the color only. That slot keeps its color while the rest are chosen again around it. The garment itself is a separate choice and stays put either way.

Tap the same button to release it. Let TailorColor choose hands the slot back to the ranking.

There are nine of them: dark top with a light bottom, tone on tone, one accent, bag matching the shoes, denim holding it together, and so on. Two or three show up per combination.

Combinations are named five ways. When there is an accent color the name borrows it, and otherwise the look is called earth tones, denim basics, monotone or basic.

Open the color sheet and choose Pick a color from a photo. Take a photo or choose one, tap the spot you want, and confirm with Use this color when the swatch below looks right.

Choosing a photo goes through the iOS photo picker, so the app asks for no photo library permission and receives only the one image you picked. Camera permission is asked only when you tap Take a photo.

The Saved screen has two tabs. Looks holds all six slots at once, and tapping one puts that outfit back on the mannequin exactly as it was.

Closet holds one garment at a time as a garment-and-color pair, which suits pieces you actually own and want to try other colors against. Neither tab has a limit.

Share this look renders the current outfit at 1080 x 1350 and hands it to the iOS share sheet, where the destination is yours to pick. Saving it to Photos leaves a PNG.

Nine at the moment: two tops, two bottoms, one outer layer, two pairs of shoes, one hat and one bag. Greyed-out entries in the sheet are garments still being prepared.

Saved looks and the closet stay as they are when new garments arrive.

The app runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later. iPad is not supported yet, and the screen stays in portrait.

The interface is always light. Since the whole point is judging color, it keeps one background rather than following the system dark mode.

Choosing colors, saving and sharing all work with no connection. The app makes no requests of its own. Safari opens only when you tap the support or privacy link on the About screen.
