01Purpose of processing

The app has no sign-up or login, and the developer does not process users' personal information. There is therefore no processing purpose to state.

02Information processed

The developer collects no personal information. The data the app uses is listed below and is kept in the app's storage on your device. With iCloud sync on, your entries are also kept in your own iCloud account. The developer does not receive this data.

• Events (year, month, day, title, note, highlight, schedule and reminder settings), tags, and timeline names: used to show your timeline
• Settings such as your birthday or base year, display options, and app language: used for what appears on screen
• Book titles and drafts: used to pick up work on a book (PDF)
• Event titles and years: used for the device search index while Spotlight search is on
• On this day items: used to show the Home Screen widget

03Retention period

The developer holds no personal information. Data in the app's storage is removed when you delete the app. Entries synced to iCloud remain in your iCloud account, and deleting an entry in the app removes it from the synced copies as well. Timeline images saved to Photos and exported files are yours to delete.

04Sharing with third parties

Personal information is not shared with third parties.

Exchange nearby is a feature you start yourself. Once both devices accept, they swap the current timeline's name and emoji and its entries (title, note, date, tags, highlight). Received entries are view-only and are saved on the receiving device only if you tap Keep as profile.

05Outsourcing of processing

No processing of personal information is outsourced. iCloud sync runs on Apple's iCloud (CloudKit), and synced data is covered by Apple's privacy policy. Apple handles Life Tyde Pro payments through the App Store. The developer does not receive payment details or Apple Account information.

06Destruction of information

The developer holds no personal information, so there is nothing to destroy. Deleted entries stay in Trash for 7 days and are then removed, or you can remove them at once with Delete Permanently. Deleting the app removes all of its data from the device.

07Your rights and how to exercise them

The developer holds no personal information, so there is nothing to request access to, correct, or delete. You can view, edit, and delete your entries in the app and export them as a CSV file. If you have questions, email us at the address below.

08Security measures

iCloud sync uses the private database in your own iCloud account. Exchange nearby works only over an encrypted connection. The app asks only for permission to add timeline images to Photos and does not ask to read your photo library. Notification permission is requested only when you save an event with a reminder.

Spotlight search indexes only event titles and years, and turning it off in Settings clears the index. AI summaries and drafts are written by the Apple Intelligence model on your device.

09Automatic collection tools

The app uses no cookies, advertising identifiers, or analytics tools.
