01Purposes of processing

The app has no sign-up or login, and the developer does not process personal information about its users. The app uses the text you add only to tidy it and show it on the reading screen, and this happens on your device.

02Personal information processed

The developer collects no personal information. The app works with the data below, all of it kept in the app's storage on your device. The developer does not receive any of it.

• Documents you add (the tidied text, the original file, where you were, and what you've read): used to keep them on your shelf and pick up where you left off
• The original HTML of web articles you add: kept next to the tidied text
• Pages received by the share extension (address, title, the HTML on screen, and when it arrived): used by Get Ready to pull out the article text. Deleted once you add or cancel, and after an hour if it wasn't received in full
• Reading settings (speed, pauses, text size) and whether Pro was bought: used to set up the reading screen and decide which features open

03Retention period

The developer holds no personal data. Everything in the app's storage is removed when the app is deleted. Documents stay until you delete them, and deleting a document deletes its files. A page received by the share extension is deleted once you add or cancel it on Get Ready.

04Provision to third parties

Personal information is not provided to third parties.

05Outsourcing of processing

No processing is outsourced. Buying and restoring Readride Pro is handled by Apple on the App Store, and payment information follows Apple's privacy policy. The developer receives no payment method and no Apple Account information. If another app shares only a web address, the app fetches that page from the site once. As with any web request, the site receives your device's IP address, a browser description that names Readride, and your device's preferred languages. The request doesn't go through any developer server, and it doesn't send or keep cookies, cache, or saved logins.

06Destruction of personal information

The developer holds no personal data, so there is nothing to destroy. Deleting a document removes its folder, and deleting the app removes everything in it.

07Rights of users and legal representatives

Because the developer holds no personal information about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have questions, email us at the address below.

08Security measures

What the app uses sits as files in the app's storage on your device. The developer runs no server, and the app doesn't sync through iCloud. If you back up your iPhone (for example with iCloud Backup), this data is included like any other app's, and Apple handles that backup. Pasted text is read only when you tap the paste button. Finding clutter with AI is done by the language model on this iPhone, and your text is not sent to the developer or to any other server. It runs only when you tap Find More with AI. Web pages are fetched over https only, and never from addresses on your local network.

09Cookies and other automatic collection

The app uses no cookies, no advertising identifier and no analytics tools.
