Questions

Getting started

Choose a monthly or daily budget, enter one amount, and tap 시작 (Start). There is no account or login.

If you start a monthly budget partway through a period, enter the real amount left in the 지금 남은 돈 (Money left now) field. If you leave it empty, the full budget is used. The period start day, Count weekdays only, Expires if unspent, payment notices and card last 4 digits are under 더 정하기 (More options), and you can change them later in Settings.

Counted days and public holidays

Every day counts by default. If the money isn't for weekends, turn on 평일만 세기 (Count weekdays only) in Settings. Weekends and public holidays are left out. To leave out a specific day, tap it in the calendar on the main screen. When the calendar is collapsed it shows only this week, so tap 달력 펼치기 (Expand calendar) to reach other weeks. You can't leave out past days.

Korean public holidays for 2026 to 2028 are built into the app, and later years are added in app updates. 2028 was worked out from the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute calendar data and will be checked again once the official dates are published. In years not on the list, only weekends are left out. Tap any temporary holiday that isn't on the list to leave it out in the calendar.

Money left at the end of a period

Money left does not carry over to the next period. When a period ends, the budget starts again.

If the money disappears when unspent, as with welfare points or a grant, turn on 남으면 사라짐 (Expires if unspent) in Settings. The app then tells you to use it all within the period.

Daily budgets and the period start day

To budget by the day, change the budget type in Settings to 하루 예산 (Daily budget). A new share appears on each counted day, and days that don't count have a share of 0 won.

If your budget doesn't start on the 1st, pick a day from the 1st to the 28th in 기간 시작일 (Period start day) in Settings.

The daily amount on a day you pay

With a monthly budget, if today is a counted day and you have a payment today, today's count ends and the money left is divided again from tomorrow. The screen shows 오늘 계산 끝 (Done for today). If you cancel every payment that day, today counts again. Balance adjustments don't count as payments.

Recording text messages with a Shortcuts automation

If payment notices reach you by text message, you can set up a Shortcuts automation. Open the app once, then open 직접 만들기 (Make it yourself) under 단축어 자동화 (Shortcuts automation) in Settings to see the steps. The app action to add to the automation is called 결제 문자 기록 (Record payment message). The steps follow the iOS 27 screens.

The app can't read your Messages directly. It reads only text passed by the automation or text you paste. The automation's 다음을 포함 (Contains) field decides which messages are passed. With only 승인 (approved) there, cancellation messages may not be recorded. To catch those too, put your card's last 4 digits in that field.

Card app notices and KakaoTalk notices

iOS limits mean the app can't read card app notices or KakaoTalk notices automatically. Copy the notice and paste it into 문자로 추가 (Add from message), or use 직접 추가 (Add manually).

Card last 4 digits

If you enter them, only messages from the card with those last 4 digits are recorded. If you leave them empty, payment messages from every card are recorded. In that case, messages with a readable date, time and amount are recorded, and messages containing the Korean words for deposit, withdrawal, transfer, loan, billing or statement are not recorded. Messages containing the Korean words for declined, failed, not possible, insufficient balance or over the limit count as declined and are never recorded, with or without the card digits.

If a message isn't recorded

Check that the automation's 문자 본문 (Message text) field holds the trigger's 메시지 (Message). If you entered your card's last 4 digits, a message must show those 4 digits in full to be read. For other messages, empty the card field or use 직접 추가 (Add manually).

Messages are read using the Hana Card format as the base, and other card companies' messages are read by finding the amount, date and last 4 digits. Messages with no date or time can't be read, and payments not in won are not recorded.

Reporting a message

If 문자로 추가 (Add from message) can't read a message, 문자 제보 (Report message) appears under the result. Tap it to open a mail draft with the original text. You can delete or change the name, merchant or card number before sending. You send it yourself from your own mail app.

Reported messages are used only to teach the app that format and to reply to you.

If the balance doesn't match

Tap the big number or 잔액 맞추기 (Match balance) and enter the real amount. One 잔액 조정 (Balance adjustment) line records the difference, and your original transactions stay as they are. Swipe in the list to delete adjustment lines and transactions.

To enter a cancellation or refund by hand, turn on 취소나 환불 (Cancel or refund) in 직접 추가 (Add manually).

Widgets

Home Screen widgets come in small and medium sizes. They show the money left and what you can spend today, and the medium size also lists your 2 latest transactions.

There are three Lock Screen widgets. The rectangular one shows the money left and what you can spend today, the circular one shows the share left, and the inline one shows the money left. Until you enter a budget in the app, they show 설정 전 (Not set up) or a question mark.

Where ads appear

Ads appear in one banner spot at the bottom of the main screen.

Tracking permission and ad settings

iOS asks whether to allow tracking after you tap 시작 (Start) on the first-run screen. You can use the app the same way if you don't allow it, and you can change this choice in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Where ad consent is required, such as the European Economic Area, the consent form appears before the tracking prompt. In those places you can change your consent from 개인정보 선택 (Privacy choices) in Settings.

Internet connection

Budget calculations, recording and widgets work without a connection. Ads, sending a report email and opening the privacy policy need a connection.

Changing devices

The app does not use iCloud sync, so records don't move to a new device by themselves.

Supported devices and languages

iPhone only, with iOS 26 or later. The app's screens support Korean only. Amounts are in Korean won, and message recording takes only payments in won. Portrait and landscape are supported.

If the app misbehaves

Close the app fully, open it again, and check the App Store for the latest version. If the problem continues, email us with the screen you were on and what you were doing.
